Ambulance Responder Day 21/06/09 - Tuesday, June 23, 2009
Did you come? Send us your pics
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) held its first ever Responder day at Bressingham on the 21/06/09. It was a great success, the day was opened by Rick Wakeman.
Fathers day health checks were very popular, keeping the paramedics busy all day. The responders taught CPR, gave fake wounds to those brave enough to have one and explained the role of CFR's to anyone that stood still for long enough.
Ronnie the responder had his own train and appeared at various points during the day travelling by many means of transport, we are awaiting confirmation from the EEAS that a steam roller can classify as a rapid responce vehicle!
Bressingham would like to thank all the EEAS badge holders of all levels who gave up their time on Sunday. Let us know how many responders you think we can get into a paramedic slide sandwich!
If you have any images from the day mail them to ab@bressingham.co.uk and we will add them to the web site.
